Day 1: MARSEILLE / AVIGNON/ ST REMY DE PROVENCE

Arrival on your own in Aix en Provence TGV station or Marseille Airport in the

morning. You will fill the renting contract and have a briefing regarding the bikes

rented.

Your luggage will be carried directly to your hotel for overnight stay.

Departure to Avignon downtown.

Lunch on your own suggested in “Le Différent” restaurant.

Avignon city tour by foot, including the Papal Palace, with official English speaking

tour guide.

You will start in the late afternoon to St Remy de Provence, a beautiful village

located in the heart of the Alpilles Mountains for a short city tour.

Cocktail, accommodation and dinner at the Villa Glanum 3***

 

Day 2: ST REMY / GORDES

Breakfast in your hotel

09h00 : Little roads to reach an Olive oil mill, the “Moulin de Castellas” with a

special owner’s welcome – Then proceed to « Les Baux de Provence » for a

private tour, including the castle with an official English speaking guide

Some leisure time given to stroll the small streets – Fantastic views of the

Alpilles Mountains and the Camargue plain!

Lunch on your own then an afternoon trip on a very scenic road will bring you to

Gordes, one of the “most beautiful villages of France” (with a surprise stop)

Accommodation in your hotel, the Gordos 3***

Dinner in this lovely village and overnight stay.

 

Day 3: GORDES / GORDES

An impressive day and superb roads are your program today :

Vaison La Romaine (an antique roman town with a local English speaking

guide) then you will climb on a fantastic twisting road with marvellous

landscapes and reach the top of the Mt Ventoux (1911m – 5650 feet), called

“Provence’s giant” were you will find a very rare and world protected forest.

Lunch on the south of Ventoux in Crillon le Brave beautiful village

Proceed to impressive “Gorges de la Nesque” and arrival in Sault village, a

region of lavender, and with a tasting at a “Nougat” factory.

Then in the afternoon, your road will bring you to Senanque Abbey on very

scenic roads before returning to Gordes for your second night in the same hotel.

Fine dinner at La Bastide de Gordes and overnight

 

Day 4: GORDES / MOUSTIERS

Breakfast in your hotel

Today will be an epicurean feast for you!

A lovely road will bring you to the Haute Provence state, between the Lure

and Luberon mountains. You will discover the famous “Pastis” drink

followed by a typical meal on your own suggested near Forcalquier, in

“Le Couvent des Minimes”.

Surrounding by superb landscapes, your road will bring you to lake Sainte Croix

then to Moustiers Sainte Marie, well known for its crockery all over the world

Accommodation in your hotel, la Ferme Rose 3***

The “must do” of the day will be your dinner at the

famous Chef Alain Ducasse’s property,

at the “Bastide de Moustiers”

Overnight stay in Moustiers.

 

Day 5: MOUSTIERS / ST TROPEZ

Breakfast in your hotel

Today will be another great day!

After strolling the narrow and twisting roads

of Verdon Gorges with its unbelievable panoramas,

Lunch on your own suggested at “Maison des Vins” in Les Arcs village.

After more scenic roads, you will reach Saint Tropez, the World’s Jet Set

“Rendez-Vous” on the French Riviera

You will have some leisure time to visit the famous harbour with its huge yachts

and take a drink at “Senequier”, the world well-known café

Dinner in town and overnight stay in at l’hôtel des Lices 3***

You will suggest you a late walk close to the harbor

 

Day 6: ST TROPEZ / AVIGNON

Breakfast in your hotel

This will be the longest road you will have, but now you’re very used to!

You will visit Thoronet Abbey then proceed to St Maximin la Sainte Baume for

your lunch (on your own)

Arrival in Avignon in late afternoon and accommodation at hotel Cloître

Saint Louis 4****

Farewell dinner in Christian Etienne restaurant and overnight stay in

Avignon.

 

Day 7: AVIGNON / MARSEILLE / DEPARTURE

Breakfast in your hotel.

Morning and lunch on your own for shopping or personal visits
